Pensions Pay Cut Protest - 10th May

Protest Against the Pensions Theft

Last month you will have seen a cut in your pay as the government started to take money off you to pay for your pension -  A pension which will be smaller after you have worked longer to get it.

The cut would have been £48 if you are on UPS3 (more if you hold a TLR)

This will double in 2013-14 and go up even further in 2014-15

The NUT estimates that the cut last month (and therefore every future month) meant a staggering 25 million extra was paid to the government by teachers (money that will not go into our pension scheme).

Come and Protest Against this Pay Cut

outside the Department for Education (Great Smith Street SW1P 3BT)

on Thursday 10th May

Islington NUT will be meeting outside St James's Park tube station at 5.30pm

Please  join us and other London NUT colleagues
